By downloading, installing, or using TypeSafe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
TypeSafe is an AI-powered scam detection app that analyzes screenshots and text messages for potential scams, phishing attempts, and social engineering tactics. The service includes a custom keyboard extension for real-time scanning and a main app for manual screenshot analysis, providing risk scores and threat breakdowns.
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use TypeSafe.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
TypeSafe offers a free tier with a limited number of scans and a Pro subscription with unlimited access. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use TypeSafe only for its intended purpose of scam and threat detection. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app. You may not use the service to process content that violates applicable laws or to circumvent any security measures.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
TypeSafe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for accuracy in our scam detection, we cannot guarantee that every scam or threat will be identified. TypeSafe's analysis should not be considered professional security or legal advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TypeSafe and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including any losses resulting from reliance on scan results.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of TypeSafe are owned by TypeSafe and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The TypeSafe name, logo, and branding are trademarks of TypeSafe. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of TypeSafe after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
